5 YEARS!

Yes it has been five years...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SARAH!

I'm so lucky to have spent this time with Sarah. I wouldn't want to have it any other way. We have had so many great blessings, memories, and trials (that have made us better) while dating and married! Here are some blast from the past photos. I can't do our time together justice because I don't have all of the photos. But I will add some more later.

I just wanted to say that I love Sarah so much and am looking forward to upcoming memories we will make. Thanks hun for the great 5 years! I'm can't wait for the next 5. Hope you have a great day.

Little graduation day pic. I think this was the first time Sarah met da rents (parents).

This stuff is mostly our Mexico tour with Living Legends. Some great shots of Sarah. She LOVED tour and Living Legends. I did too, but Sarah still lights up when ever we get on the subject. She was always looking for opportunities to serve and reach out to others in Living Legends.

I remember that piece of candy in Sarah's hand...it was nasty.
Sarah and Tami
Sarah was trying to stick her head in the mouth but she was vertically challenged...that's all changed now ;)
This was our first house. The outside looks rough but you should see the inside.

Peek-a-boo shot. Just havin some fun at the ruins.
This is Guadalajara...Sarah's old stompin grounds. These guys played us a lil tune to welcome us.
Dis guy looks a lil scruffy...nothing compared to the current scuffiness ;)
Here is an "I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open" pic. Look for more pics soon...

Some Summer Fun

Okay it's been a while peoples. But we've done some fun things for the end of spring and start of summer that I wanted to share. Here they are all out of order:

We went to Art City Days...a must if you are in Springville in June! Noa loves the carousel if you couldn't tell.
Micah wasn't as excited.

Here we are on the ferris wheel...Noa was fearless (Sarah didn't want anything to do with it. It's okay hunny ;).

Another ferris wheel shot.

We also took the boys to hike the Y...what were we thinking? No it was fun but we got a real good workout. Our legs and backsides were sore for a couple of days. But the boys really liked getting outside and finally checking out the Y they point out everyday.

The last couple shots is when we took Noa to the Suessical! Cool and fun show. Noa loves his Dr. Suess books so he recognized some of the characters. But as you can see he was pretty excited before it even started.

Happy Birthday Tau!

Sometimes thoughtful words are the best gift you can give, so if you know Tau please take a minute to leave a birthday comment with a favorite memory or something you admire about him.

My sister did this for her husband and I thought it was a great idea so... I'll start!

Favorite Memory: I couldn't just pick one so here are a few

1) Dancing in Living Legends with you. We shared in so many special experiences with that group that I will never forget. I got to see the desires of your heart there and hear your sweet testimony often. That is when I fell in love with you.

2) Our many attempts to scare each other in our first house, but my favorite was when I stuffed pillows in the bed to look like me and hid behind the door. Then I watched as you crawled in, threw up the covers, and yelled. The yell just went higher as I jumped out from behind the door and screamed... haha I am still laughing about that. Guess you had to be there. Your face was the best.

3) Seeing your reaction after Noa and Micah were born and watching you hold each one in your arms for the first time.

4) Watching you wrestle with the boys, teach them sports and how to treat the ladies, your attempts to dress and feed them ... pretty much I love watching you be a dad.

5) Disney World. That's all I need to say about that.

Something I admire about you:

Your love for the gospel and for Heavenly Father. You have a passion for it and aren't afraid to share it. Your love for your family. You are always striving to put us first and do what's best for us. It's so hard to get you to do things for yourself. Your level head and frugality, how you help around the house even after an exhausting day, that you comment on everyones blogs and facebook posts, and your easy going personality. You make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. And finally, your pure awesomeness and attractiveness. I love you Tau and I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!

Conference Weekend

Tau recently got a new calling and was scheduled to be set apart on Saturday after the priesthood session of conference. We were very lucky to have Tau's parents come up from AZ to show their support.

It was just a small get-together with both our parents, us, and the boys (Noa's coat was slippery :) Poor guy).

Just in case you are wondering, Tau got special permission to grow his hair and beard out. He is being considered for a part in the church's new movie the New Testament

The best part of the weekend was having Tau's parents stay a little longer to spend time with the boys. They just ate it up. Here Noa is enjoying a story from Papa while Nana entertained Micah.

I think Micah's favorite part was when Noa would go to bed so he could spend some one-on-one time with Nana and Papa. He was all smiles.

Micah working on his 6-pack

I don't know whats up with his open mouth smile. I think he was trying to say cheese.

Even though Easter wasn't until the end of the month, we threw a little easter egg hunt while Tau's parents were out so the boys could celebrate with them. Plus I was trying to make Noa practice as much as he could before the real easter egg hunts so he could find me lots of candy :) He was a very good tracker and found all the eggs in no time. Micah even got in on the action.

Micah sitting on his nest of eggs. Hehe

The boys loved being with their Nana and Papa and were very sad to see them go. It always takes a few days before Noa stops looking for them. We were very excited to have them come and be a part of such a special experience. All in all, it was a great weekend, all the conference talks seemed to be written just for me and it was reaffirmed to me why I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man who is always striving to honor his priesthood and loves the Lord with all his heart.

SLEDDING!

This doesn't have anything to do with sledding but my lil man is too good lookin not to share.

Here is Micah all ready to go. Don't worry everybody we turned around his seat. We are good parents and know he shouldn't be front facing yet.

Noa looked a little worried or tired?

Tired it is. My man fell asleep.

So we took Micah for some rides before Noa woke up...and it was dope! That's right I said "dope."

Some random lady asked Noa and I to pose for a picture, she said she wanted to use it in some sledding magazine and would send contracts to be models...I'm playin. There was no contracts just a one time photo deal...in cash ;) Is there such a thing as a sledding magazine?

Now prepare yourselves to see and feel the action of sledding. Sarah and Noa waving the whole ride down.

Take a ride with Noa and Tau...it's just like being there minus all the fun. Sorry you have to go sledding to feel that.

Other stuff...I know it's late.

Noa with Dad in our suits. Thanks Auntie Nita! It was a long night thus the tired eyes and scruff...and I'm lazy.

Here is our annual lights drive. The boys loves it.

Lil Manu admiring the lights.

Noa thought he was driving. He was pretty excited.

Here are some videos...who doesn't like videos?
